Not your conventional photographer, I look for “off the hip” shots. While I have been shooting my whole life, I recently started approaching photography more artistically. Hanging in the field with Chris has been double purposed; I take photos for painting reference as well as challenging myself to see what I can visualize through the view finder. Translating an idea into reality is similar to painting, sometimes it works! Some images won’t make a good painting though it will yield a photograph.
